All the Rooms have Air Conditioning along with Ceiling Fans. Sleeps 12 People comfortably and is staffed for house keeping/ cleaning detail of villa, bed, bath, and evening turn down service (included).

Secluded from the main villa Casita Ramon is reached by a path of smooth white coral stones from the glorious infinity pool with sweeping vistas. Across stepping stones of black lava rock colorful Koi flash brilliant orange, white and black...calico fish swim in a Jade pond with water spouts of lava rock. Casita Ramon is a romantic hideaway almost completely constructed in bamboo with wonderful stained glass of tropical flowers making for a very special ambiance.
The main villa is entered through captivating lush gardens and lava rock. Costa Rican antique carved wood benches adorn the vibrant hallway lit at night by a natural crystal lamp leading you to the Grand Vista Apartment.
You enter through a large glass doorway into a stunning bistro sitting area redefining contemporary tropical style this first floor faces the Grand View Terrace.
Granite counters define the fully equipped open area kitchen and chic indoor dining room with its bamboo columns.
Out on the Grand View Terrace you marvel at the breathtaking views and can easily reach the bamboo covered look out point. Here there is an outdoor living space with an outdoor dining room and tasteful lounge areas.
Warm earth tones inside set apart a splendid relaxation area with woven Balinese Banana Leaf furniture.
The master bedroom is a statement in relaxation and comfort with a stunning marble bathroom that walks out to a patio by the pool area.
The guest room is a delightful repose for company with warm soothing colors and its own blue bathroom.
A flight of Bamboo stairs lit by crystal rock lamps leads you to the second floor’s radiant passage way that opens to the outdoor lounging space decorated with delightful tropical theme bamboo sofas. The floors here are done with luxurious Chiricano hard wood.
The Deluxe Suite terrace is covered by a wonderful ceramic tile roof held by giant bamboo beams and lined in split bamboo shafts. The floor around the terrace is a sumptuous green stone which is a type of Costa Rican Jade. In the Deluxe Suite Apartment you will want to walk barefoot!
Wall to wall glass doors and windows is all that separates the outdoor living spaces from the two separate indoor spaces.
A large ultra comfortable L-shaped couch is the place you want to just melt into with your favorite tune or movie. The kitchen has a marvelously chic duo-level green granite counter for dining. Colors blended to put you in the mood to savor life’s pleasures and for total enjoyment.
The guest room is exceptionally private and has an incredible view of the rainforest covered mountains. There are two guest baths…one is a trendy violet room and the other is blue with exquisite marble and recycled bottled glass tiles which give you the feeling of floating in the pacific beyond.
On the other side of the passage way looking out to the ocean view is the master bedroom in its own completely separate compartment. An extravagant statement in contemporary flair, this suite is stunning in its originality, and luxurious in the comfort zone. This pleasing open area with bamboo floor is audaciously split into a bedroom and a cozy hideaway with a full home media center resulting in a most impressive enclave.
Cranberry and blue hues combine to create a striking master bathroom that looks down into a rock fountain in the garden and the South Pacific beyond. This is an amazing space where you can enjoy a vogue Jacuzzi bath with a glass of champagne and delicious open shower.
The third floor is reached from a bamboo staircase off the terrace. This unique covered area can be used as an additional relaxation or entertainment space.
A bamboo lookout point jets out towards the ocean where you see whales passing by going north from the protected waters of the nearby Marine Park. Congo monkeys, tucans, butterflies, dolphins frequent this site and there is nature everywhere.
A trail leads you past the spa where you can have a signature massage using all organic products through the bamboo gate beyond to the practically private beach below lined in coconut palms.

|
Portocito's secluded small cove beach is just below Casa Ramon, about 3 - 5 minutes by foot... depending on the person. We call it our "Little Paradise" or Pequeña Paradiso.
The nearest beach by car is Portocito Beach, and it's less than 2 minutes away. The gorgeous palm lined Hermosa Beach is just beyond that, a mere 5 minutes drive. It takes a couple hours to walk the beach; it is that long! Ballena Marine National Park 15 minutes by car and also visible from Casa Ramon, as is Caño Island and the Three Sister Islands.
Costa Rica Eco-Discovery activities
Ballena Marine National Reserve includes several fabulous beaches and Las Tres Hermanitas islands only 12 km south taking about a 15 minute drive from of Casa Ramon. Ballena means “whale” in Spanish and the park exhibits a very mystical land formation of a “whale’s tail” that is visible at low tide. The park is also a reproduction site for humpback whales during Costa Rica’s winter months from Sept – Nov. At low tide you will spot an unusual green iguana that feeds on marine algae. The cliffs around the park’s coastline are nesting ground for frigate birds and the sea earwig.
If you prefer to drive yourself it's an easy road to the Ballena Reserve. Casa Ramon can prepare you a special picnic lunch for your pleasure (at an additional cost).
Baru Biological Reserve has an amazing biodiversity and is only 15 km north of Casa Ramon. Here guides lead you through one of the most interesting rainforests of the world.
Cano Island Reserve has the most incredible diving and snorkeling in Costa Rica with 65 feet visibility. Its white sand beaches and crystalline water are only15km from the Osa Peninsula and directly in view from Casa Ramon. Here you can swim with dolphins, see turtles, glimpse at manta rays, and bask in vibrant colors amongst a plethora of tropical fish. This boat tour is spectacular. |
